It’s only price gouging IF we make a purchase from them.
I ve said no and have been finding other powder alternatives, surplus pull down, etc. Guess what, I can still shoot without being totally robbed on powder pricing. I hope others consider doing the same so the wholesalers and retailers...
I d try getting 160 or so rounds it getting brass fireformed and then group/chrono again.
Brand new barrels usually get an additional 50-75 fps after totally broke in. Sometimes bites guys on the hiney ….. if they pick a load before barrel totally broke in. Ask me how I know 😂 And I ve seen a...
Sure didn’t see where SEC scrutinized the consolidation of powder companies and being watchdog for consumers …. Think about that for a while regarding our gov t s true interests …. Just sayin …..

2.260” oal on both bullets
Varget powder
CFE 223 powder
Seems like the 90-95 gr bullets offer a pretty good velocity bonus...
Is a 260 AI, 6.5 Swede in modern action or another cartridge/rifle an option?? As someone mentioned trying to make your Accord a Corvette ( or something similar to that) usually has big compromises ….
In the case of a 6.5 CM and those velocities a 4-6” l her barrel probably easiest but as you...
Just in case anyone following; 25.5 grs of cfe223 did the same fps as 24 grs H4895 IN MY RIFLE.
Calling them exchangeable for all practical purposes. Big temp swings most likely show H4895 preference.
