Do it yourself Shoot and See Targets

I have made a few batches of these. They work...but I did have some issues with one brand of tape not wanting to take the paint. Sent from my SM-J327V using Tapatalk

    25-06 and noslers 110gr accubond

I love when you guys discuss the 25-06. Just a great round even if it lacks the high Bc's of the 6 and 6.5mm that have taken over the world of shooting. The 110AB is hard to beat. I find an accuracy node at about 2975-3000fps with my 24" barreled Remington. There's another sweet spot for me...

    Afternoon Stand Question

Thank you for the relies men. Here's the set up...river bluff runs down the west boundary. The shaded area is our property. The deer skirt the field...most of the bedding area is east. Neighbors to the north have big open timber. I hunt this stand on a north wind or an east wind. Walk in...

    Afternoon Stand Question

How long do you guys stay in the stand when the deer come in on you right at dark? The stand is in a travel pinch between a field and steep bluff but there are a few oaks in there that get fed at times. Today, the deer were on the move right at dark and set up shop 20-40 yards out from...

New Box of ABLR - 129 grain Weight Consistency

Gem Pro 250 I'm a big fan. As long as you let it warm up for a bit, it is spot on. I like turning it on about 10 minutes before I need to use it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    vacuum sealing machines

I think mine is a food saver 2431...does that sound right? It handles a deer or two per year. Maybe a soup or chili at some point. I've had it about 3-4 years I suppose. Hopefully it will last a few more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    anyone help with a start

Tomorrow I will be using 77 grains(weight) of BH209 and a 250 barnes expander. My traditions is an MOA gun off the sled with that load. Had to switch to crushed rib sabot in order to get that. The supplied sabot was too hard to load and gave me a 3.5" group. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hornady Precision Hunter Ammo -25-06 less drop than most

I like the 25-06...love the 25-06...probably my favorite cartridge. I haven't looked it in a while but I think the difference isn't the drop, it's the energy. Probably not so much difference at 500 vs 6.5 but the heavier offerings should retain more energy. I think the 110 AB drops below...

New Box of ABLR - 129 grain Weight Consistency

I don't normally do this but decided to throw a few out of a new box on the scale. I'm not sure what you guys expect but I was very happy with the results. I have a pretty decent scale that is calibrated and rated for .02 grains accuracy. .264 ABLR 129 grains 128.90 128.92 129.08 129.00...

    range day 10-31-17

Oh and I haven't had great luck with the RL19 either in my 25-06. I think there are equal to better options even though I use the Nosler book as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I love my 742 jam-o-matic in 30-06. Mine is a 1975 and if I get softball sized groups I am happy. It's my confidence rifle for sure in forrest treestand hunting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
