10mm used to stop the threat, Montana Style! Bear in the house..

Excellent! That's a lot of suds, and a lot of cartridges on tap.

I like the Glock, shoot it pretty well but don't have one. I've always been more of a 1911 guy. 40+ years of training with a 45 1911.

What's the consensus re the reliability and durability of a 10mm 1911 ? My 45 1911's are virtually trouble-free.

Thanks! Guy

A 1911 loaded with Underwood 45 Super will do the trick if you have a fully supported chamber and recoil buffer.

With conservation and media being what it is today. Also the proper way to handle an incedent where you have to put down a predator is simply shut up. If it was trying to come in the storm door and you put a few slugs through it. Keep your mouth shut, go to Lowe’s and get a new storm door. Then don’t make a conversation of it to acquaintances. If you’re alone in the woods. If a tree falls in the forest and nobody hears it does it really make a noise? Be glad you’re alive and keep your mouth shut. It’s different if there are injuries or death but otherwise I have no idea what your talking about.
