Quick camp breakfast

Hunters here in kawlifornia eat raw pop tarts.

If you've got a griddle, stick it over your Coleman stove or your fire, and get it hot. Put down a bit of oil, and then lay down some shredded hashbrowns, and two eggs. Stir them all up together. Put in whatever else you want - bacon, ham, sausage, peppers, onions, etc. Lay a flour tortilla down on the side of the griddle to get it warm (mist it with water if you have a spray bottle, and it will steam nicely), then put the glob of hash brown/egg/whatever in it and fold it up like a burrito. Once you get set up, you can make eight or ten of these in a hurry (if you're good, you can do two piles at once if the griddle's big enough) and everyone eats well, without need for a fork or even a plate. This won't work so good if you're packing in, because nobody wants to pack the griddle! Around here, we camp next to the truck.

We take pre-baked potatoes and pre-fried bacon/sausage. Cut the potatoes up when needed and then do the egg thing with them. 10 min max and you are ready with a good hot breakfast.

You could do the one pan burritos. Cook 1lb of bacon cut up into about 1" pieces to about 85% and then add enough eggs for the eaters of the burritos (probably 8-12), then once it is most all cooked up, add a bunch of shredded cheese to the top. Once it is cooked to your taste, start scooping it onto flour tortillas. You only need to use one pan and it cook pretty quickly. No extra plates to clean up and only one pan. We use it all the time in hunting camp and on 4 wheeler trips when a mess uses to much time. Scotty
