My 1st ever firearm purchase was a 629 8 3/8 44mag ('84) that I had for almost 20 years:(. With that in mind my 1st AR ('14 or '15) was a S&W (viking) and has still been a favorite to shoot! Next I went and bought a M&P 1.0 9mm 4.25" in '14 or '15 that has been a 100% reliable firearm! When the 10mm 2.0 (4") was being offered I couldn't wait as I put in a pre-sale order about 2 months before release date. What an outstanding firearm it is with only 500 rounds thru it I added a Timney Alpha trigger that reduced the weight from ~5.5# down to just under 3#. Then they (S&W) released a PC model w/5.6" ported barrel w/slide length comp (https://www.smith-wesson.com/product/performance-center-mp-10mm-pistol). What I want is this (https://www.smith-wesson.com/product/performance-center-m-p-45-m2.0-ported-core), but none to be found, so opted for this (https://www.smith-wesson.com/product/m-p-45-m2.0-threaded-barrel-optics-ready-full-size). So, to fix what isn't broken I ordered a few extra parts to make up for what isn't on the 45 PC model (Carver Custom's flared magwell, 3-port comp that blends in as close to the 45 version w/comp, ss guide rod and recoil springs 15 & 17# to tune and 3-round mag extensions). Having the favor-for-the-flavor I ordered 2 more Timney Alpha triggers. 1 will go on the 45, but unsure where the 2nd 1 will go?

Having a p226 in 357sig (such a great gun & cartridge), a multitude of Glocks (17, 31, 22, 20, 21, 40 & 41), a Magnum Research 50AE w/44mag conversions, XDM's in 40 S&W and 10mm w/ 5.25" barrels, FN 57 and 4 (soon to be 5) S&W M&P's (2 10mm, 1 9mm & 1 5.7). My next purchase will be a 2.0 M&P in 40S&W then converted to 357sig (or just buy a slide and add the barrel). Hoping to get a BFR in 45-70 to accompany the SBL 1 day.
