I just ordered a brand new Lyman Mustang Breakaway as my first muzzle loader. It is apparently made in Italy by Investarm for Lyman.
It's a true break action and is similar to my over and unders.
I ordered 2 of the special close out 2005 Shockey specials with the CD and 1 new 2006 Shockey pack with the CD.
I can't wait to get it.
I also ordered a couple of spin jags 1 original and 1 new.
I've been trying to find Black Mag 3 but have had any luck yet so if the rifle comes before I find it, I guess it will be T7 with T7 primers.
I've been looking at sectional densities and the 300 HG seems to be the only one marginally over the min .210 recommended for CF deer hunting.
I also (found here) that the min fps of 1,800 is recommended for HG reliable expansion.
Any suggestions?
