This is a rather extreme example, but it reminds us why we shouldn't become complacent when it comes to examining new brass. The quality control department certainly missed this one. The other 99 are great.

It happens. I've found brass with no flash hole and with the tops so deformed that it was impossible to true them. That one, however, is extreme.
 
A pair of pliers and some duct tape will fix er up, good as new.

Nothing wrong with that! Cut it down and make 44 Automag brass!

Well, since this is a 270WSM, it would be much larger diameter than 44, so we'd call it the "Fotis Fatty Automag." :) You can choose the rifle platform, too.
