A Speer tech told me to only use their 300gr jacketed .451 diameter bullet in the S&W 460 .A Sierra tech told me not to use any of their .451 diameter 240gr or 300gr bullets in the S&W 460 as they will shed their jackets creating an obstruction in the barrel. Hornaday does use their 240 & 300gr xtp-mag bullets in S&W 460 loads and sent me load data.I haven't checked all of the bullet manufacturers,what's okay in the Nosler line to use in the S&W 460?
