Took the teslong borescope out. Here are just a few pics. Firecracking about an inch in the bore. And have this for most of the length of the bore. And near the muzzle: The lapping bullets might help enough to keep the groups down some. Cheaper than a new barrel.

Never ran RL23 in either of mine. Started out way back with IMR4831 then tried IMR7828ssc and H1000 pushing the 110 gr NABLR bullets. In mine, I found the best speed and accuracy with IMR7977. Wish I could find a use for the pound of RL23 I have though.

Guy Minor & 1100 Remington, Fajen seemed to ALWAYS have great wood in stock. The loss of that company to the industry was a major loss to hunters wanting beautiful wood on their firearms.

None of them grouped well but then again, it's a fairly thin barrel and it had the MS hanging off of it. I'm thinking maybe part of the problem is a few of the brass I was using was only 1x fired while most was 3x fired. I'll try again with just 3x fired stuff and see.

Well, took 10 rounds out to run through my Magnetospeed and had MV running from 2981 down to 2851. I'd also loaded 8 rounds and put them in the freezer overnight to see what changes. Oddly enough, taking them one at a time out of an ice chest and shooting over the MS, the velocity dropped down...
